RTV Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a RTV (Return to Vendor) Assistant to join our RMA department. The role focuses on order processing, order entry, and return management. This position is based in Secaucus, NJ.

• Count, sort, and verify all incoming returned products against requisitions or invoices.
• Examine returned items to confirm conformance to specifications.
• Process orders: receive, close, and perform heavy data entry tasks.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse department on storage of returned particles based on identifying information.
• Compile information and reports on stock usage, inventory adjustments, damaged stock, and location changes.
• Obtain approvals from management to process RMAs for replacement or credit.
• Coordinate part availability for shipping and communicate RMA status to internal departments and external customers.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a self‑directed, high‑energy, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of SAP system.
• Previous office assistant or administrative experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. for moving products between areas.
• Strong problem‑solving skills at all management levels.
• Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable mindset.
• Ability to align business needs with system requirements for smooth integration.

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a Certificate of Completion from a technical school (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
• Inventory management and/or shipping/receiving experience (preferred).

The typical base salary for this position is approximately $17/hr final salary will be determined based on experience, skills, knowledge, and certifications.
