We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Accounting Department in Secaucus, NJ. This role involves managing payment collections, account reconciliation, and supporting freight operations within a high-volume ocean transportation environment.

• Collections Management: Conduct payment follow-ups via calls and emails.
• Account Reconciliation: Investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate billing records, and provide account statements.
• Freight Coordination: Ensure timely import cargo freight release.
• Payment Processing: Assign and reconcile payments in the in-house system and Freight Payment Reports

• Invoice Management: Create, update, and manage invoices.
• Check Handling: Utilize JP Morgan scanner for check processing.
• Customer Service: Resolve inquiries, disputes, and refund requests.
• Reporting & Accuracy: Reconcile system, payment reports, and scanner logs regularly.
• Team Support: Collaborate with internal teams for compliance and satisfaction.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in accounts receivable

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in ocean transportation

• System Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP/IRIS system and JP Morgan scanner is a plus.
