THE ROLE
The Program Management Analyst supports AMD’s change‑management organization by maintaining internal and customer Bills of Materials (BOMs), coordinating end‑to‑end change control processes, and driving process improvements across engineering, operations, and customer‑facing teams. The role blends data analysis, cross‑functional communication, and project management to ensure accurate product configuration and smooth implementation of changes.

- Able to collaborate with internal teams and external customers while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- Maintain and update BOMs within AMD’s internal PLM system (Agile) to support material ordering and build activities
- Review AMD BOMs and maintain customer BOMs to ensure alignment after customer PLM releases
- Understand change‑management processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Drive implementation of process changes and coordinate with impacted cross‑functional teams - Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with change requirements
- Collaborate with customers to resolve open items in PLM and issue‑tracking systems
- Collect, analyze, and report data to customers on a weekly and monthly basis
- Prioritize work based on internal and customer process requirements
- Propose new approaches and solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Work independently with AMD tools and systems to complete assigned tasks without additional direct supervision
- Experience in project or program management
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive issues to closure
- Strong communication skills for cross‑functional alignment and stakeholder updates
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with PLM systems (Agile or similar)
- Proven track record of process improvement and continuous‑improvement mindset
- Bachelor’s degree required
