Specific responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide analytical and administrative support to the Commercial Department.
- Maintain and administer the CCD SharePoint library, including contract records, contract status tracking, and document management.
- Process, monitor, and maintain vendor VTM updates, including serving as backup support for NJ IJOS TVTM creation and maintenance.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly vendor volume, cost, and performance reports.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support vendor operational reviews, cost evaluations, and management inquiries.
- Coordinate and communicate with the ATD team regarding vendor contracts, invoice reconciliation, administrative matters, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate directly with key vendors to address operational, contractual, and billing-related issues as they arise.
- Assist in developing reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical models to improve operational visibility and decision-making.
- Support departmental projects, process improvement initiatives, and special assignments as required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis), PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Access.
- Familiarity with SharePoint administration and experience working with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize internal systems and applications, including IRIS, MISBIE, and other company-specific platforms.
- Demonstrated initiative and capability to develop and enhance information management, reporting, and analytical tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, maritime, or vendor management environments is preferred.
