RVE (an Ardurra company) is seeking a Construction Inspection Manager to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey.

The Construction Inspection Manager is a proven team leader with over 15 years of experience in civil and infrastructure construction projects. The role involves overseeing and managing both projects and a team of construction inspectors and contract administrators. The manager will supervise construction operations for the Secaucus Regional Office, report directly to the Regional Manager, and collaborate with engineering project managers and administrative staff.

Responsibilities include inspection and contract administration of municipal roads, underground utilities, park facilities, private land development, and coordination with other inspection managers on water/wastewater and building projects.

• Coordinate the transition from design to construction, including constructability reviews and handing over responsibilities from preconstruction conference through project close‑out.
• Plan construction phase schedules, assign staff, and coordinate with other departments to balance dynamic construction needs.
• Maintain quality control of all payment certifications.
• Lead daily communication across inspection teams and coordinate timely communication with design teams and clients.
• Identify, scope, and administer field changes for unforeseen conditions, including change‑order cost and schedule negotiation.
• Mentor inspection team members and implement staff development protocols.
• Apply and enforce company policies.

• Leadership experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and proficient with inspection software, Microsoft Office Suite, and related programs.
• Two‑year technical or associate’s degree in construction technology or construction management (preferred).
• OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred).
• NICET Certifications I, II, III (preferred).
• ACI Field Technician Certification (preferred).
• New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technicians – Field Testing (preferred).
• NJDOT Traffic Control Coordinator (preferred).
• Work Zone Safety (preferred).
• Confined Space Training (preferred).

Salary Range: $94,000 - $122,200 annually.
