HVAC Mechanical Estimator

Job Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare accurate HVAC and mechanical construction estimates, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs for bid submissions and project planning.
- Review blueprints, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to develop comprehensive takeoffs, proposals, and scope letters.
- Attend site walks, pre‑bid meetings, and scope clarification meetings while collaborating with clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and project teams.
- Support project turnover and assist Project Managers with pricing changes, cost analysis, and estimating documentation management.
- 5+ years of HVAC estimating experience within the construction industry, preferably focused on mechanical systems.
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and project scopes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and estimating software platforms.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and cost estimating methodologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience with design‑build projects, conceptual estimating, project management software, and construction financial systems.
