Job Type: Full time

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500 for new hires. To qualify, applicants must be new to ACG (not applied in the last 180 days). There is a 1‑year payback clause if employment is terminated before completing 12 months. Additional details can be provided by the Recruiting Team at application time.

A Day in the Life of a Licensed Customer Service Representative
  • Promote ACG products and services and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the face of the branch, greeting customers and providing peace of mind
  • Provide support services to members related to sales and service, including servicing insurance policies, processing applications, renewals, and amendments, and selling travel and membership products
  • Generate leads and update members on travel and insurance specials; provide travel information
  • Provide cashiering services: accept insurance, travel and membership payments; sell tickets and travel money products; process remittance/depository transfers; balance cash drawer
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer to agent when appropriate
  • Provide administrative support to Travel and Insurance Agents during peak periods
  • Assist in the basic training of less senior personnel
  • Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products
  • Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service
  • Receive and resolve member/customer complaints; seek assistance from management as needed
  • Participate in office events to generate revenue, improve product awareness, and support local community activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Active State Property & Casualty License or ability to attain within 90 days of start date
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience providing customer‑focused service
  • Experience servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals and amendments, taking payments
  • Experience responding to billing and coverage questions
  • Experience promoting sale of insurance products and/or travel and membership products
  • Experience with outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel
  • Proficiency with computer software applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and web‑based operations
  • Knowledge of insurance and travel terminology, general insurance and/or travel regulations, underwriting procedures, and sales regulatory and compliance guidelines
  • Experience with travel and/or insurance systems (e.g., Focal Point, View Point, ITT, AXIS, PPS, POS, IMS, IPM)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform accurate monetary transactions
  • Team orientation and ability to work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends, and under pressure in a high‑volume environment
Work Environment

This is an in‑office position. Employees will serve ACG members in person at a branch facility.
