Role

Training Material Developer

Focusing on creating innovative digital learning experiences to support technicians and service teams.

Responsibilities
  • Role overview:
    Designing and developing modern, interactive training programs using advanced technologies like AI video avatars and 360° product walkarounds to enhance learning accessibility and impact.
  • Core responsibilities:

    Creating diverse training content, collaborating with subject matter experts, conducting needs assessments, evaluating training effectiveness, updating materials, and facilitating sessions, leveraging digital learning technologies.
  • Content updates:
    Maintain and update existing training materials to keep them current. Handling translations where needed.
  • Facilitation:
    Facilitate training sessions or workshops as needed.
  • Digital learning technology:
    Use advanced e-learning tools and multimedia technologies to create interactive, engaging, and learner-focused training experiences, including AI-supported video content and immersive digital product training.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Instructional design:
    Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Technical proficiency:
    Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and multimedia tools; experience with training based on mechanical and/or electrical systems is beneficial.
  • E-learning development:
    Excellent hands-on skills with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and Synthesia; ability to develop polished, interactive e-learning modules from concept to final delivery.
  • Photo and graphic design:
    Experience creating and editing visual assets that enhance digital learning experiences.
  • Translations:
    Ability to conduct eLearning and multimedia translations.
  • AI and immersive training innovation:
    Experience or strong interest in AI avatars, AI-supported training content, digital storytelling, and 360° product walk around training.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with SMEs and other stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking:
    Ability to analyze training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Educational background:
    Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, or related field; a master’s or post-graduate certificates would be beneficial.
  • Mindset:
    Willingness to learn and collaborate.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality learning and performance products, including job aids, facilitator guides, interactive PDFs, microlearning videos, SCORM-based e-learning objects, and more.
  • Design and develop engaging digital learning experiences using Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and Synthesia, including AI-avatar videos and product-focused digital training assets.
  • Create and enhance photos, graphics, layouts, and visual design elements that support engaging, professional, and brand-aligned content.
  • Support the digital transformation of Prevost training by introducing innovative learning formats, including AI-enabled training, virtual product demonstrations, and 360° walk around training for new products.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to collect content and gain input during development; obtain SME level sign-off.
  • Present solution designs to senior stakeholders at project launch and milestones.
  • Defend the approach taken to solve performance needs when necessary.
  • Consult facilitators on ILT or VILT solutions early in development; participate in Train-The-Trainer where applicable.
  • Define and write sound learning objectives tied to business objectives and evaluation strategy.
  • Manages documentation, originals, versions, and final products in accordance with team processes.
  • Continuously upskill in the learning profession and pursue relevant certificates.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
