About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiovascular Tech to join our team at Hudson Regional Hospital. As an Interventional Cardiovascular Tech, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You will be expected to maintain a sterile environment, operate complex equipment, and monitor patient vital signs. Your role will be critical in ensuring the safety and well‑being of our patients.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional cardiology lab
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Experience with advanced procedures such as TAVR and Mitra Clip
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment in the procedure room
- Operate complex equipment such as X‑ray machines and ultrasound equipment
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician
- Assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures
As an Interventional Cardiovascular Tech, you will utilize your knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as your technical skills in operating complex equipment, to assist physicians in providing high-quality care to our patients. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will need to be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a focus on patient safety and quality of care.
