Job Description

Responsible for accurately processing Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Department

• Responsible for accurately processing Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Department
• Registrations in accordance with regulatory and financial requirements.
• Inputs patient registration data into the computer system, while verifying patient demographics and insurance. Appropriately interviews patients, obtaining the necessary information.
• Knowledge of medical terminology necessary.
• Strong knowledge of the insurance verification and registration process required.
• Maintains ability to quickly assess and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Verifies outpatient scripts appropriately.
• Detailed and quality oriented with strong problem solving and the judgment to interpret data and take appropriate action in circumstances and situations which vary.
• Complies with all job functions within the required time frames.
• Excellent customer services skill required.

• Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor as deemed necessary.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of registration experience
• Excellent customer services skill required.
