Tristate Health Pay, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Secaucus, NJ with support in North Bergen, NJ tosupport safe, efficient, and patient-centered care across Tristate outpatient practices by performing delegated clinical and administrative duties. In this role, you will be preparing patient and exam rooms, supporting clinical workflows, maintaining accurate documentation, and help creating welcoming and organized patient experience working in partnership with providers and the broader care team.

What We can offer YOU:

• Pay: $18 – $25/hour, offer dependent on experience

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30AM to 5PM EST
• Potential Saturday coverage as necessary
• Full time

The right candidate will have:

• Active certification from an accredit Medical Assisting school.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within the timeframe established by Tristate, if required.
• Two or more years of experience of medical assisting experience in outpatient physician practice.
• Two or more years of clerical and clinical experience with phlebotomy, injections, point-of-care testing, prior authorizations, and referral coordination, as applicable to the practice.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

• Patient-Centered Service:
  Welcome patients, verify identity, escort patients appropriately, and provide a professional, respectful, and compassionate patient experience.
• Efficient Patient Flow:
  Support an organized clinical workflow by preparing patients, examination rooms, and necessary supplies to keep visits running efficiently.
• Accurate Clinical Documentation:
  Obtain and accurately document vital signs, medications, allergies, reason for visit, relevant history, and other information in the EHR according to established protocols.
• Strong Physician & Provider Support:
  Assist the physician and clinical team during examinations, procedures, and patient visits while anticipating clinical needs and maintaining an organized environment.
• Clinical Skills Within Scope:
  Perform delegated clinical duties such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, EKGs, vaccinations, medication administration, and other procedures when properly trained, authorized, and permitted.
• Clear Clinical Communication:
  Communicate provider-approved results, instructions, referrals, and follow-up information while appropriately directing clinical questions or concerns to the licensed clinician.
• Patient Safety & Escalation:
  Recognize abnormal findings, urgent symptoms, changes in patient condition, or other safety concerns and promptly elevate them to the appropriate licensed professional.
• Teamwork & Respectful Communication:
  Maintain open, professional, and compassionate communication with physicians, NPs, clinical staff, administrative staff, patients, and families.
• Reliable Practice Operations:
  Coordinate with clinical and administrative team members to address workflow issues, complete assigned responsibilities timely, and contribute to a well-organized practice.
• Training, Development & Continuous Improvement:
  Participate in staff meetings, required training, quality improvement initiatives, and process changes while continuing to develop clinical and professional skills.
