Salary Range: $10,000.00 To $20,000.00 Annually
Responsibilities:- Insures the comfort of the patient and maintains patient privacy while transporting
- Transports safely using wheelchairs and stretchers
- Checks two forms of patient identification prior to transporting
- Completes an In-Patient transport within 20 minutes
- Leave to Return and communicates delays back to department - Transports any other required items; documents, equipment, specimens etc. to proper department.
- Stocks linen and fluid in warming cabinets, documents temperature and labels solutions for expiration.
- Assists radiology staff in all areas of perioperative services
- Assists in informing patient family/friends of patient's disposition.
