Responsibilities

Kforce's client is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support distribution and logistics operations. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, control costs, and optimize supply chain performance. The Analyst will focus on labor cost analysis, warehouse performance metrics, freight spend, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working cross-functionally, developing reports and dashboards, and using data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for operational improvement.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy, clarity, and usability in reporting outputs
  • Produce ad-hoc analyses, data models, and benchmarking reports as needed
  • Identify key drivers, trends, and root causes through detailed data analysis
  • Analyze warehouse, logistics, and freight spend data to support cost optimization
  • Assess warehouse management and labor management system configurations to recommend efficiency improvements
  • Automate and optimize recurring reporting and analytical processes to reduce manual effort
  • Partner with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to improve inventory control and operational workflows
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams and third-party logistics partners to track labor metrics, KPIs, and warehouse performance
  • Develop working knowledge of both functional supply chain processes and supporting data systems
  • Support additional operational and analytical initiatives as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, macros)
  • Experience managing warehouse labor metrics, KPIs, and freight spend
  • Strong analytical, data visualization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build data models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Willingness to travel domestically on an occasional basis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise planning or analytics tools (e.g., ERP, business intelligence platforms)
  • Exposure to forecasting or demand planning concepts

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & AD&D insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
