A rapidly growing company is seeking a Senior IT Service Delivery & Operations Manager, responsible for leading service desk operations, managing IT procurement and vendor relationships, and overseeing the full lifecycle of IT assets across the organization. This role ensures operational excellence through well‑defined SLAs, strong ITIL‑aligned processes, system upgrades, preventive maintenance, business continuity planning, and tight compliance with security, financial, and regulatory standards.

Location: Onsite in Secaucus, NJ

Employment Type: Direct hire, full-time (visa transfers acceptable with approved I-140, no C2C)

Responsibilities
  • Lead IT service desk operations; develop and enforce operational procedures, SLAs, and performance metrics
  • Manage system upgrades, patching schedules, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure backup and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end procurement for hardware, software, and services.
  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, and manage contract life cycles.
  • Collaborate with finance/legal for budget and compliance alignment.
  • Forecast procurement needs based on lifecycle planning and growth.
  • Manage IT Asset Management (ITAM) from acquisition to retirement.
  • Maintain hardware/software/license inventories.
  • Track asset allocation across locations.
  • Ensure license compliance and perform audits.
  • Ensure all operations comply with corporate/regulatory standards.
  • Support audits with documentation.
  • Coordinate with Info Sec and data privacy teams on compliance and risk management.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant IT Operations, Procurement and IT Asset Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (advanced degree preferred)
Required Skills
  • Strong expertise with Service Now
  • Deep understanding of service delivery, and lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with vendor negotiation, procurement contracts, and financial controls
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Prior experience in a strategic IT Operations role
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
