EY’s Oracle Services practice assists consulting practices with large, complex full lifecycle application implementations, leveraging Oracle SaaS and PaaS. This role focuses on designing, delivering, and leading innovative Oracle application solutions. The program supports clients in architecting and implementing core applications and technology needed to run their business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager in Application Design and Development, you will manage and deliver processes, solutions, and projects with a focus on quality and risk management. You will guide teams, recommend solutions, and engage regularly with external clients, leading work streams from planning to closure. Travel may be required to serve clients.

  • Develop solutions to complex problems, recommending changes to policies and establishing procedures that impact your work area.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Provide direction and feedback to team members to ensure successful task completion.

  • Manage and partner with client technology professionals and third‑party alliances to implement technology solutions.

  • Develop people by encouraging independence, delegating work, conducting performance reviews, and leading by example.

  • Develop long‑term relationships and networks internally and externally.
  • Supervise a team through all phases of implementation, including requirements, architecture, conversion, and testing.
  • Communicate effectively with senior and middle management in supply chain, finance, and technology domains.
  • Apply Agile development methodologies.
  • Manage application integration and quality assurance.
  • Analyze software development and technology business requirements.
  • Possess strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Display digital fluency and emotional agility.
To qualify for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience.
  • 3–6 years managing technical or business integration roles in SCM/Finance application implementations.
  • Experience with 2–3 full‑cycle Oracle SCM/ERP Cloud implementations and 3–4 Oracle EBS implementations of key modules.
  • Hands‑on experience with FBDI, OTBI, REST, and SOAP.
  • Proven integration expertise using Oracle Integration Cloud, Mule Soft, Dell Boomi, or another leading platform.
  • Use of Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, client‑service, and technical‑writing skills.
  • Research capabilities on emerging technologies, SOA governance, and new tech.
  • Willingness to travel 60–80% of the schedule.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field; MBA or MS preferred.
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
