The purpose of the position is to manage and oversee the equipment assets in and out of the CT facility. This person will help develop the internal process to address workflow, maximize gear utilization, sub-rentals and the general inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all orders and decides what will be transferred and/or sub-rented. Flowing equipment from/to shows and/or warehouses are also considerations.
  • Works closely with Warehouse Leads and Operations to ensure that all substitutions and changes are available if offered up to Sales and/or Project Managers.
  • Writes transfers from other locations and vice-versa approves transfers from other warehouses.
  • Looks ahead and sees where possible flows from site make sense as opposed to sub-renting.
  • Follows up and creates flow sheets so Operations and Project Managers are all on the same page of all CT equipment being flowed.
  • Ensures that flows of gear are properly checked in and checked out in R2 to keep inventory correct.
  • Oversees all Purchase Orders issued by set depot for the purposes of securing sub-rented equipment.
  • Stays on top of the transfer page in R2 ensures that transfers have been properly received to keep accurate inventory for set location. This includes possible transfer cancellations should a job scope change.
  • Coordinates and secures subrental requests.
  • Coordinates pick-ups and returns of sub-rented assets with Shipping & Logistics Manager.
  • In conjunction with Inventory Control, conducts cycle counts and full-scale inventory of assets.
  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    Fulltime, ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

    Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a professional audio, video and lighting environment.
  • Must have general knowledge of all aspects of Audio Visual including Video, LED, Lighting, and Audio.
  • Highly organized, hands-on approach.
  • Upbeat team player who can work independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment with an emphasis on strong customer service.
  • Problem solver and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Experience in management and/or operations within a live performance service company.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with database equipment reservation systems.
  • R2 inventory software experience required.
  • Some experience in a warehouse or shop environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office Software (Outlook/Word/Excel).
