Senior Operations Manager - Outbound Secaucus, NJ

Rent the Runway is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations to lead all Outbound and ICQA functions (Picking, Assembly, Shipping, and ICQA) within the Secaucus Distribution Center. This role oversees day-to-day operations to ensure safety, quality, throughput, and turnaround targets are consistently met. The Senior Manager will champion continuous improvement initiatives that support near-term and long-term growth as Rent the Runway scales its customer base.

This leader will manage and develop direct reports, ensuring each department is staffed and equipped with the tools, metrics, and processes needed to achieve performance objectives.

• Oversee day-to-day operations across Outbound and ICQA departments.
• Directly manage, coach, and develop Operations Managers.
• Own departmental financial planning and budget management to maximize efficiency and ROI.
• Drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Provide technical, analytical, and statistical expertise to support data-driven decisions.
• Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures to enable scalable performance.
• Define, track, and evaluate performance metrics and operational KPIs.
• Lead and participate in internal continuous improvement and audit programs.
• Partner on warehouse design, layout optimization, and new business initiatives.
• Develop, execute, and report on short-term and long-term operational plans aligned to company growth.

• B.S. degree in business administration, manufacturing, or supply chain; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in a supply chain, operations, warehousing, or project management role.
• 5+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Experience leading/collaborating with operations, finance, accounting, and buying/procurement teams to deliver KPIs.
• Experience building, owning, and delivering operating metrics.
• Strong analytical background with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; other data tools are a bonus.
• Ability to solve complex operational problems and continuously improve processes.
