Development Manager

A Development Manager's primary responsibility is to deliver the value to the customer by doing "everything" necessary to achieve this. Works together with all stakeholders, Architects, Developers & Testers to plan & execute the project/product within the define scope. Key job responsibilities are mentioned below.

• Work with Product Management Group/Product Owners and the rest of the team to define the requirements and deliver the quality product that will directly impact our internal business customers.
• Involve in defining Product Roadmap with Product Owners.
• Ensures that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
• Ensure the implementation of defined processes and procedures.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, understand the technology stack and architecture of the product and use the right tools, processes and methodologies to achieve best results.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Provides detailed and timely status updates to management.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Sound knowledge in analyzing business requirements, recommending technical solutions.
• Sound technical background & understanding of latest Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge & understanding of Cloud Stack (MS Azure, Google etc.).
• Strong technical background & hands on experience in Software Development and Testing, Reverse engineering, Automation, Packaging, Deploying, etc.
• Knowledge in C#.NET, ASP.Net,.NET CORE, Web API, MSSQL, WCF, HTML5, JavaScript, JSON and JQuery, Angular JS is preferred.
• Good understanding ALM/PLM.
• Hands on experience in Agile/Scrum process (SDLC)
• Good working knowledge in tools TFS/VSTS.
• Dev Ops expertise is preferred.
• Work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Should have managed teams of developers and software testers in a distributed delivery model.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully handle/complete multiple projects/products working in a diverse environment.
• Highly collaborative and strong people management skills combined with hiring skills.
• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure to ISO/CMMI/PCMM/Six Sigma and other quality management standards is preferable.
• Experience in Healthcare preferred.
• Certification in PMP is preferred.
