Role Overview

The Assistant Wholesale Planner will provide key data reporting and analytics of category performance across several brands within the wholesale licensed division. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting Senior Planners and the VP of Planning with weekly selling, inventory, shipment and general ad hoc reporting. The candidate must be a strong problem solver, able to easily manipulate data, and be an Excel expert.

Responsibilities
  • Weekly retail sales reporting and analysis on current business performance.
  • Weekly customer on order, order confirmation status and open orders reporting making callouts on changes vs the previous week.
  • Update weekly inventory report and analyze increases or decreases in inventory.
  • Assist in monthly shipment forecasting and analysis.
  • Establish relationships with the external partners buying teams, analyze selling, recommend and align on replenishment projections for the upcoming season.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales, stock levels and forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with other functional areas such as the Customer Service, Warehouse and Information Technology teams on processes, systems, and reporting as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant Planning experience and/or strong internship experience.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to reach supported conclusions and make thoughtful recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with an eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
Logistics and Compensation
  • This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office.
  • PAY RATE: $28.00-$31.00/hr.
  • Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, and internal alignment.
