Responsible for receiving, packing, processing, ship or put away merchandise in a safe, accurate and productive manner. Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are typically scheduled 12‑24 hours per week. • Receive, put away, pick, process, pack and ship merchandise in a safe, productive and accurate manner.
• Key accurately and productively using PCs, hand‑held computers or other such devices.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
• Operate powered equipment as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
• Adhere to conveyor lock‑out procedures and clear jams on elevated conveyor systems.
• Understand and communicate directions in the fulfillment center regarding standard operating procedures and security and safety guideline.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Be able to be trained and work at heights when operating forklift equipment.
• Use multiple radio frequency devices such as handheld scanners.
• Learn area‑specific functions within multiple systems, i.e. Manhattan WMS and Macy's proprietary systems.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

• Candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.

• Regular walking, standing, sitting, hearing, and talking.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.
• Lift 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally for Small Ticket and Direct to Consumer positions.
• Lift up to 75 lbs for Big Ticket positions.

• Supply Chain Only and Colleagues Working in a Supply Chain Facility except in locations governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement:
• Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi‑monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll.
• Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party.
• Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances.
• In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.
