Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the VP of Planning to own Open‑to‑Buy (OTB), ensuring inventory investments align with sales and margin forecasts, and inventory objectives by category.
  • Build and present seasonal targets and inventory recommendations by category to support revenue growth, inventory productivity, and appropriate category penetration.
  • Compile and analyze style/color/size‑level forecasts for key‑item private‑label replenishment programs, selling data to support demand planning, replenishment, assortment decisions, and inventory management.
  • Own replenishment planning for core branded and never‑out‑of‑stock (NOS) programs, including reorder recommendations based on sales trends, inventory levels, lead times, and business objectives.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain target in‑stock rates while balancing inventory productivity, turn, and service levels.
  • Identify product opportunities, inventory gaps, and demand shifts; recommend actions to improve sales, forecast accuracy, and inventory performance.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Production, and Finance teams to forecast sales, inventory, revenues, returns, promotions, and markdowns.
