Position SummaryAs part of the produce team, you will make important decisions about the quality of the produce our members consume. You will be front‑line customer service staff, ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness of produce while enhancing the member experience.
Responsibilities- Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; and be flexible to the needs of the business, tracking goods, maintaining in‑stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to produce quality; prepare products (trim, crisp, package, scale) according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive departmental performance; use digital tools and inventory management to stock and rotate products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers; and assist customers per company policies.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience; model high‑quality service and products; execute basics at highest level; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion.
- Comply with company policies and ethics; implement action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; recommend improvements; and adapt to change.

Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
