As a  
** Security Officer Streaming Campus Patrol Driver
** in  
** Secaucus, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will conduct routine patrols and mobile rounds, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, support access control and loss prevention efforts, and deliver customer-focused communication with employees and visitors.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance from onsite contacts and/or public responders, and completing required notifications.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including corridors, offices, parking areas, loading and delivery zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor and operate access control processes including checking identification and/or visitor credentials, verifying authorization, managing visitor logs, and directing people to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.

+ Document patrols, observations, and incidents in daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate noteworthy conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and follow post orders and escalation procedures.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ Have security experience of 5+ years.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
