Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Specialist with a strong background in motorcoach bus maintenance
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel engines and motorcoach systems.
• Diagnose and repair engine issues experienced with Cummins, Detroit and Volvo, including fuel systems, emissions, cooling systems, and electrical components.
• Replace full engines, turbos, injectors, inframe rebuilds and head replacement.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
• Collaborate with other technicians and fleet managers to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience working with diesel engines, preferably in motorcoach or heavy-duty bus environments.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with electronic engine control systems and diagnostic software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
