Job Summary

F&G Mechanical is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot and service commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician performs tests and analysis of data to assure proper functioning of equipment and provides recommendations. They understand control operation and sequence for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, keep accurate service and maintenance records, and communicate effectively to determine needs.

Works as a leader, builds customer relationships and teams. This is a 24/7 service company; may require over 40 hrs weekly, sometimes with little notice.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Install replacement equipment and parts per manufacturer specifications to honor manufacturer warranties.
  • Complete HVACR preventive maintenance per established standards.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and repair HVACR malfunctions per EPA standards.
  • Follow maintenance schedule to complete accurate and timely equipment maintenance and operating logs.
  • Complete documentation, including timesheets, expense reports, service reports and purchase card logs.
  • Conduct general tasks such as safety training, group meetings and maintain tools and vehicle (if applicable).
  • Work overtime during the week and/or weekends.
  • Week by week rotating on call shifts.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or HVAC apprenticeship program of training.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 7-10 years HVAC experience with commercial or industrial HVAC equipment/systems.
  • Accountable, reliable, and courteous attitude toward customers.
  • EPA universal refrigeration license and ability to read and comprehend safety procedures.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, basic mathematical abilities, ability to read blueprints, technical schematics and specification manuals.

Compensation

Hourly Compensation – $48.73. Bonus Eligible.
