Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
About the Role
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Additionally, this role includes performing certification training for other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
What You Will Do- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery and systems.
- Configure and repair web‑based electronic components as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior technicians.
- Lead team development through task delegation and skill‑building initiatives.
- Deliver certification and training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot key technical support issues.
- Deliver certification training.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT).
- Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 4+ years of related work experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
- Relevant certifications such as CMRT or Electrical Maintenance Certification required.
- Understanding of PLCs, motors, control systems, and schematics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Typical base salary: $35 per hour. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and certifications. Total rewards may include bonus, paid time off, generous 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, wellbeing resources, and more.
