Academy Busis is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic for our Secaucus, NJ location.
Responsibilities- Repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of modern tour buses
- Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance
- General lubrication functions such as oil/filters, air filters, chassis lubrication, transmission fluids/filters, differential fluids, axle/wheels.
- Inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components under supervision such as brake components, suspension components, tires, and seats.
- Warranty and repair documentation
- Assist A and B Level Mechanics with skilled work
- 1-4 years of hands‑on experience, diesel engine maintenance preferred
- Minimum personal tool value $2000
- Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks and testing instruments
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills
