3rd Judicial Circuit. Statewide – Office Location TBD. Responsibilities
Under limited supervision by the Assistant Director of Victim Services, provides first line supervision to victim advocates by judicial circuits as assigned by the Director of Victim Services; provides victim awareness training to Department staff; supports and coordinates community and outside agency trainings as requested; participates in the selection and training of OVS staff; assists victim advocates in building community relations with other criminal justice agencies and other community organizations;
and represents SCDPPPS in inter-and intra-agency victim services efforts.
A bachelor’s degree and related experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
A Bachelor’s degree with minimum 15 hours in social sciences; 3 years experience in the field of victim services; VSP accreditation by OVSEC.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Will be required to obtain Victim Service Providers (VSP) accreditation by Office of Victim Services Education and Certification (OVSEC).
