Import Operations Specialist

Prepare and distribute all required air and ocean import documentation in a timely fashion to appropriate parties (i.e. delivery orders, arrival notice, etc.)

Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing

Communicate with air and ocean carriers, origin and destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery of freight

Mediate delivery requirements and shipment tracking between customers, truckers, brokers, warehouses, and vendors to ensure proper delivery

Input, distribute A/P invoices and ensure timely A/R collection

Associate's Degree (required);
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

1 year in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain (preferred, not required)

1 year of experience in handling customer service (preferred, not required)
