Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Secaucus, NJ — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Weekly pay, $1,300 or more weekly
• Paid training
• Sign‑on bonus: $500 at 30 days and $500 at 90 days
• Solo miles pay: $0.72 per mile; average 2,000 miles per week
• Weekly pay schedule:
  Monday‑Friday, at least one weekend day each week (flexible)
• Dispatch early as 6:00 AM

• Freight:
  No‑touch retail merchandise
• Trucks are 36 months or newer; 24/7 roadside maintenance; company drivers fuel at 800+ facilities nationwide

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide a suitable Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
