Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Secaucus, NJ — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Compensation & Benefits- Weekly pay, $1,300 or more weekly
- Paid training
- Sign‑on bonus: $500 at 30 days and $500 at 90 days
- Solo miles pay: $0.72 per mile; average 2,000 miles per week
- Weekly pay schedule:
Monday‑Friday, at least one weekend day each week (flexible) - Dispatch early as 6:00 AM
All benefits available after 30 days:

- Route: SOLO to Long Island, NY (Local Home Daily)

Day Cab - Trailer type: 53' Dry Van
- Freight:
No‑touch retail merchandise - Trucks are 36 months or newer; 24/7 roadside maintenance; company drivers fuel at 800+ facilities nationwide
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide a suitable Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
- Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
