PH Trainer PT

Minimum Education

• None

• No experience required; six (6) months of experience as a PH with Fed Ex Ground preferred.

• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information in order to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand‑held scanners, chutes, and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment.
• PHs operating switching equipment must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Conditions
  • Work in hot and cold temperatures.
  • Work in an environment with loud noise.
  • Ability to lift and carry between 10 and 50 pounds.
  • Travel should not be required.

  Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Transparency:
    This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. Actual starting pay is determined by experience, market level, location, and other job‑related factors.
  • Pay: $22.00 / hour.
  • Benefits:
    Regular full‑time and part‑time employees (minimum 91 days of employment and average 17 hours per week) are eligible for medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Employees age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
  • Schedule:
    
    Part‑time, OB1 schedule (Monday‑Friday, varying start and end times, estimated start time 1 pm).
