Job SummaryF&G Mechanical Corp. is seeking a full-time Boom Truck Driver to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. This position is responsible for delivering tools and materials to construction sites in the New Jersey area. Must be 21 years or older. CDL A license is required and boom lift experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Safely operates delivery vehicle while driving to assigned locations;
- Delivers equipment, tools, materials, parts and supplies to construction job sites;
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries;
- General warehouse duties, including tool and material inventory;
- Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
- Must be 21 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED;
- Must have and maintain a valid CDL A license with a good driving record;
- Candidate must possess proficient manual transmission operation skills;
- Minimum 4+ years of verified experience operating a boom truck. Candidates without direct boom truck experience will not be considered.
- Operates a truck with a hydraulic crane (boom) to lift, move, and place heavy materials at job sites.
- Requiring a CDL, boom operation skills, and knowledge of safety protocols to safely transport and maneuver loads like steel, pipe, or equipment, coordinating with ground crews and performing pre-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations like OSHA.
- Experience pulling trailers and driving lift gate trucks;
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus;
- Some early morning and weekend work may be required for deliveries;
- Have an excellent attitude towards safety and firm adherence to safety protocols and Company policies;
- Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test and continued compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, see, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee regularly lifts and/or moves twenty-five (25) pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to sixty (60) pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel to field locations.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will regularly work in a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise and will also frequently work at construction field sites.

Additional CompensationHourly Compensation: $35.93;
