Role Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Secaucus, NJ, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and team performance. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include coordinating shipping and receiving activities, supervising material handling, organizing and monitoring inventory, and ensuring accurate order picking, packing, and staging. The role also includes assigning tasks, training and coaching warehouse staff, monitoring productivity and safety compliance, and resolving operational issues.

The Warehouse Supervisor will help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment, collaborate with logistics and customer service teams, and support continuous improvement in processes and workflows.

Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
  • Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
  • Hands‑on experience with shipping & receiving processes and material handling in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment, with a focus on safety and proper certification where required.
  • Experience in retail, apparel, fashion, or e‑commerce distribution environments highly preferred.
  • Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets) to track and report on inventory and orders.
  • Experience preparing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and coordinating shipments across multiple carriers and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed and stand or walk for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
  • Positive, professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

Schedule
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays required during peak shipping time frames
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including picking, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate warehouse staff involved in picking, packing, shipping, staging, moving, and inventory management activities.
  • Utilize shipping software, including Fed Ex Ship Manager, UPS World Ship, Loftware (LPS), EDI, and Log On, to process and track customer orders accurately.
  • Route shipments and prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) for department store and customer shipments.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, inspecting incoming merchandise, and verifying inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of shipping supplies and warehouse materials.
  • Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and internal departments to support operational objectives.
