Finance and Accounting Manager

This is a Finance & Accounting Mgr position for a client in MARSHALL MO

Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure financial records and reporting are maintained in accordance with U.S. accounting standards (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting, and manufacturing cost analysis to support operational efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain banking relationships and manage cash flow to support business operations and growth.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff while driving process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required, with a CPA designation preferred.
• Plus a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems required, with experience in ERP systems and other financial reporting tools, preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an excellent ability to communicate.
• Applied mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude a plus!
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
