EMS Education Instructor
Primary instructor will teach at satellite locations and are responsible for upholding the policies, procedures, and expectations of EMS Education and the respective programs being taught. Instructors are the direct link between the main campus staff and our students. They are the liaison between State Fair Community College (hosting agency) and MUHC EMS Education.
Primary responsibilities include:
Administrative Department Duties:
Timely communication and feedback to students and Program staff to facilitate a cohesive and positive learning environment for students attending courses at satellite location.
The preceding duties have been provided as examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments as needed.
Education:
- Minimum of Associate degree (bachelor's degree recommended)
- Hold current paramedic license; and
- Complete state instructor online training.
Skills:
Have a working knowledge of computers as a medium to manage and improve instruction. The ability to interact with a broad range of people both on and off campus in a positive manner. Show evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess an understanding of the range of needs the college students represent. Possess commitment to the philosophy and mission of the community college.
Willingness to improve instruction through professional development.

Experience:
- Emergency Medical Services experience (A minimum of two (2) years experience as paramedic)
