3D Scanning Technician / Blue Light Scan Specialist – Sedalia, MO (Night Shift)
Looking to break into advanced 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and high‑precision inspection work? We’re hiring a 3D Scanning Technician / Blue Light Scan Specialist for a growing engineering and manufacturing team supporting turbine component operations on the night shift. This is a great opportunity for someone with scanning, manufacturing, CAD, metrology, or mechanical experience who wants hands‑on training and long‑term growth in a highly technical environment.
Night Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
$55K–$82K
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform 3D scanning and dimensional inspection activities
- Capture and process scan data for engineering and manufacturing applications
- Support reverse engineering and CAD modeling initiatives
- Assist with overnight scanning and inspection operations
- Support inspection documentation and reporting
- Learn advanced scanning methodologies used on high‑precision turbine components
- Blue light scanning or general scanning experience preferred
- Open to candidates with strong technical aptitude and hands‑on mechanical or manufacturing backgrounds

- Quality or engineering support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on overnight schedules
- Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Metrology, or related technical field preferred
