The Environmental Service Worker - Clinic is require maintaining the facility environment at Bothwell Regional Health Center Clinic in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition; to provide a suitable environment for the care of patients and the work of staff and other health care providers.

The Environmental Service Worker - Clinic reports directly to Director Environmental Service.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• None.

• On job training.

• Cleaning of exam rooms, offices, supply rooms, break rooms, medicine rooms, lab, x-ray, procedure room, restrooms, windows and door glass if applicable proper method. Removal and transport of soil linen and put in proper receptacle.
• Disposal of trash and infectious waste.
• Light laundry duties and light maintenance duties where applicable.
• Floor care by either: dust mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming, cleaning carpet, buffing, or waxing.
• Document the procedure involved in the disposal of hospital waste products, and ensure that the right procedure in line with the standard practice of the hospital, is follow.
• Other duties as assigned.
