Pay: $17.10 per hour
Job Summary:
A Manufacturing & Production Worker creates, builds, assembles, and verifies factory items.
Hours:
2PM-10PM Monday-Friday. Overtime as required.
Duties:
Create or assemble finished products through the use of various tools or machinery. They are part of an assembly line of workers, each with specific roles in the production process.
Here are some of the day-to-day tasks:
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Assemble products according to specifications.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor production processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- Participate in safety and training programs.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Any prior experience in factory work is an asset for a Manufacturing & Production Worker. They will learn on-the-job, but practical experience using tools or machinery, or working as part of a production line, will prepare the applicant for the role. General laborers already have a basic understanding of how to manage the workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to participate in training and development programs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing production demands.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
