Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00A - 3:30P with overtime at times.

The Material Handler works under limited supervision, responsible for performing a variety of duties efficiently with high‑quality results.

• Stockroom/Material Handler works from dispatch lists, schedules, and inventory control cards to maintain a steady flow of material, performing shop floor and inventory control transactions, responsible for inventory control, and may include aftermarket activities to pick parts for aftermarket sales and packaging.
• MT's are responsible for the supply and removal of skids to proper staging areas and the removal of scrap and empty containers, stock material, verify count and part number on move ticket against pink copy of move ticket on material, re‑skid material as required, check/fill shortages and stock material in location provided or new location, pull material for miscellaneous requirements and deliver to requestor, pull segregated material as needed, perform inventory functions as conditions may require, assist in material positioning for organized workflow, and general cleanliness of open areas not manned by specific operators.
• MT's are responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area, work in a safe manner, and accurately maintain production records.
• Also responsible for effective written and verbal communications as well as maintaining a constructive demeanor with all co‑workers.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of material handling equipment experience.
• One year experience in the production or distribution field.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a standing forklift.

• Lifting:
  Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally with hoist to be used on objects over 40 pounds.
• Standing:
  Standing is required in periods of up to three hours at a time.
• Stooping:
  Would be required to lift objects off pallets.
• Hand Dexterity:
  Must be able to work with hand tools, screws and gauges, as well as operate buttons on controls.
• Verbal Communication:
  Must be capable of clear communication between co‑workers and supervisor.
• Carrying:
  Capable of carrying 40 pounds for a distance of up to 25 feet.
• Position requires working knowledge of inventory management and prior experience in Receiving is required.
• Incumbent must follow all safety rules, environmental procedures and utilize required safety equipment.
• Position requires working knowledge of inventory management and prior experience in shipping is required.
