Job Overview

The Manufacturing Technician supports daily production and fabrication operations by measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling PVC and CPVC components according to specifications. This position uses a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment while following drawings and work instructions to produce quality products safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, glue, and assemble PVC and CPVC components according to specifications, shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Operate saws, drills, routers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment used in production.
  • Assemble components manually and with semi‑automatic or automatic production equipment, as required.
  • Perform basic equipment setups and routine maintenance on fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Inspect completed products and perform required quality checks to ensure workmanship and specifications meet company standards.
  • Support material handling activities, including loading/unloading shipments, inventory, picking, packing, and material movement as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures and production standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and adapt to changing production needs.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or similar hands‑on production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings, blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure and basic measuring tools.
  • Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience using hand tools, power tools, and production or fabrication equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow instructions and complete hands‑on assembly/fabrication tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safe work practices.
  • Good communication, teamwork, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work overtime as needed.
