To provide guests with an outstanding experience through exceptional service while assisting the manager in reaching the sales goals and minimizing shrinkage. Teammates will reach these goals through quality‑prepared food and great guest service.

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer experience with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other teammates.
• Follow all technical manuals for processing of products, including label placement and packaging.
• Ensure that receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with company and vendor guidelines. Maintain a complete understanding of these policies.
• Ensure proper sanitation of department, equipment, food handling, and preparation area are followed in accordance with company policies.
• Report or correct all unsafe conditions that could cause teammate or guest accidents.
• Report all teammate and guest accidents in accordance with established company policy to the manager on duty.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Update displays, cases, and other customer‑facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased.
• Prep, store, rotate, and stock merchandise.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by managers, which may include substituting for absent teammates and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to guests during peak periods of business.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Grocery store setting. Inside work with variations in heat/cold/dust/humidity caused by the opening of store entrance doors. Some outside work may be required.

• You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at Woods Supermarket.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

• Meets any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
