Maintenance Generalist (1st Shift) Sedalia - MO

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, preventive maintenance, all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Must identify all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and complete work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.

This position requires lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. Work environment is cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. Must be able to use basic hand and power tools including drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multimeter, and other tools.

• 3 months mechanical experience or enrolled or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training.
• Must complete work orders in a timely manner.

• Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days; no rehire for former Tyson Team Members that were terminated for gross misconduct; if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
