This position is responsible for making sure all of production has the materials they need to manufacture our products. They have to receive, issue, transport all materials that flow through all production. They also represent to company when delivering to local schools or to commercial customers in the 100 mile radius area.

• Pull items from the warehouse for production - verify inventory/locations using Sage
• Receive incoming orders via parcel, freight, vendor delivery - verify PO#, item#, quantity. Store all inventory items in locations (use PITs as necessary), distribute all non-inventory items to the appropriate department
• Cycle out all trash gaylords in the warehouse & throughout the plant, load full gaylords on trash trailer
• Operate company vehicles to pick up items from vendors, local school deliveries, make scrap runs, transfer items to other locations, deliver vehicles for maintenance/repair, refuel vehicles, take daily USPS mail to the post office, take deposits to the bank
• Use Sage to systematically check inventory out of the warehouse that has been pulled & systematically receive all incoming inventory items.
• Communicate with purchasing clerk on inventory needs, recycle trailer needs. Communicate with dumpster vendor to cycle out dumpster.
• General housekeeping in the warehouse
• Inventory & cycle counts

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and a driving record that is within our Fleet Safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills, navigating various programs
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving materials
• Previous shipping or warehouse experience preferred, but not required
