Licensed Mental Health Counselor

20hr/week
-Flexible hours within 8am–5pm, Monday-Friday, day shift, no weekends

Pay:$60 - $80/hr, depending on credentials and experience

Do you want to spend your time in a rewarding setting working with youth and young adults? This on-site position is in a clinic, housed on a residential school campus. You will spend your days working in an integrated healthcare team with professionals who are committed to assisting students in their emotional, mental, spiritual, and educational journey toward adulthood. You will act as an independent clinician to assess, treat, recommend, and refer students as needed for additional care.

• Conduct patient assessments and create treatment plans.
• Implement behavioral therapy techniques to address mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide crisis intervention and make referrals as necessary.
• Stay current on best practices in mental health counseling.

• Required:LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PhD (WA State licensure required)
• Experience working with youth and/or young adults with mental health disorders
• Strong background in counseling and patient assessment
• Proficiency in behavioral therapy
• Knowledge of HIPAA and clinical documentation
• Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations

• Current WA licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PhD)
• Direct experience with youth or young adult populations
• At least 1 year of independent licensure
