Warehouse Associate I

• Greet and interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise
• Assist with customers’ orders by loading and unloading products as needed
• Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse
• Assemble products and displays
• Deliver products to customer delivery points
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (delivery truck, forklift, etc.) and facilities
• Dispense propane and kerosene
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes, and continuously develop skills
• Collaborate, communicate well, and effectively relay information with an emphasis on positive professional relationships
• Practice punctual and reliable attendance

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maintain a safe and insurable driving record
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds
• Professional appearance and demeanour
• Proven track record of being dependable and reliable
• Demonstrate basic computer skills, including navigating websites and receiving/sending emails
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment

• Product knowledge in one or more of: feed, seed, pet food & supplies, hardware, fencing, animal health, tack, clothing & footwear, lawn & garden, or wild bird supplies

Part-time, in-person position, 28–32 hours per week, Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
