Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. A successful candidate will be able to successfully perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance tasks on production equipment in Dogwood Industries' metals fabrication shop.
Duties & Responsibilities- Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify and fix problems
- Perform equipment modifications as directed by the supervisor
- Troubleshoot issues on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- Set up equipment (leveling, anchoring, adjusting, set stops and squaring arms)
- Perform small tool disassembly and repair
- Maintain the spares and consumables parts inventory
- All other duties as assigned.
- Extended hours of work may be required
- Ability to follow periodic maintenance per manufacturers recommendations and as needed
- Ability to work safely and follow company safety rules and guidelines
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to read and understand schematic parts diagrams
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals
- Ability to order small tool parts
- Ability to write neatly and speak clearly
- Ability to keep a clean work area and equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Familiarity with 480V 3PH cord and plug repair
- Ability to perform bridge crane and hoist maintenance
- Basic welding skills
- Two-year technical degree
- Forklift experience
- Basic carpentry skills
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum two years prior experience maintaining industrial equipment or similar work.
