Equipment Operator 2 (EO2)
Full‑time, Non‑permanent, Represented position (WPEA). Anticipated employment:
July 2026 – June 2027.
Salary: $4,517.00 – $5,241.00 per month.
Position OverviewThe Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Northwest Region is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to work from Sedro‑Woolley and throughout the North Cascades, primarily Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish Counties. The role supports management of the region’s approximately 1200 miles of forest roads and collaborates with engineering staff on forest road projects.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment for road maintenance and abandonment.
