We are seeking an Installation Technician to join our team at Fireplace Showcase. In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes, deliver, install, and set up new fireplaces, grills, and swing sets. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.

• Greet customers in their homes to complete installation.
• Read and understand technical manuals and installation instructions.
• Educate customers and answer questions about products, maintenance, and repairs.
• Stay within industry/unit compliance and safety standards.
• Follow appointments scheduled by the installer scheduler/office.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and co‑workers.
• Be organized and maintain a clean, efficient workspace, and prepare daily work jobs.

• Focused, reliable, organized, and motivated.
• Willingness to learn.
• Some construction/trades experience.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and co‑workers; a team player.
• Familiar with hand tools and hand‑held power tools.
• Comfortable on roofs and ladders.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot.
• Capability to lift 80+ pounds.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.

• Experience with carpentry, HVAC, construction, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• Background in the hearth industry, although training will be provided.
• Previous experience in mechanical repair or customer service.
