PRIMARY

PURPOSE:

The high school data controller is responsible for ensuring that student records are accurate and up‑to‑date, overseeing student information systems, and supporting data collection and reporting within the high school environment. They must adhere to district and state regulations and procedures to ensure that student and academic data are maintained and processed accurately and in a timely manner. Primary duties include data entry related to the school's master schedule, grade reporting, calculating GPAs and class rankings, student scheduling, managing student demographic information, PEIMS reporting, and generating various computer reports, scan sheets, and transcripts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Post‑secondary education or at least 5 years of experience in data entry, particularly in student records or data management in an educational setting, is preferred.
