Job Description:

Objective: Operates crawler or rubber-tired excavators with hydraulic attachments for tasks such as digging, loading, and placing materials.

Job Duties:

• Operate machinery by starting engines, controlling throttles, switches, levers, and pedals.
• Signal truck drivers for loading operations.
• Ensure safety by avoiding hazards and obstructions.
• Perform routine maintenance like oiling and greasing.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe activities.
• Contribute to team efforts to meet company goals.
• Maintain professionalism and reliability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Excavator Operator in heavy highway and civil construction.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Basic math skills related to geometry and algebra.
• Ability to navigate construction sites and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physically capable of strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions.
